Bill Goldberg Answers Six Questions About His Cars – GQ’s Car Collectors – Los Angeles

who’s gonna host your show after I kill you I can’t stand those I’d say the curd that I always wanted as a kid was a 72 73 Trans Am I think Smokey and the Bandit for me growing up as a kid had something to do with me like in the Train thing though the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am were newer cars I think there were 78 I like the nose on the 72 70 through 73 the one car that I do not have in my collection that I am seeking is a 1994 McLaren f1 normally aspirated six hundred and forty eight horsepower seats in the middle no power steering no power brakes equals one hell of a good time you know I would say that this is a spouse approved hobby one of the coolest cars that I have in the collection right now is actually her car it’s a 1970 Pontiac Trans Am but it’s been all updated it’s a Pro Touring Car I’d say the coolest part about that car is that it’s my wife’s and everybody assumes that I’m getting behind the wheel and going out and racing it with all the stickers on it but the reality is ladies and gentlemen my wife is much faster than I am tried to get rid of everything here except for one automobile hands-down the decision will be easier be by 1974 twenty-nine Mustangs up that little lawman not only because of what the car is but what the cars done I have a responsibility with that car not only is it a does it run eight 20s in the quarter-mile but it’s probably been seen by over a half-million servicemen and women so means a lot [Music] I’d say the worst car on the road today is a toss-up between a Prius and a smart car but I look at a smart car is kind of like a pinball you may be you may be fine in that self-contained a little capsule but do you really want to be bounced around everywhere but just about anything on the road I don’t trust a car that I can pick up for me it’s toss up Prius smart car I think this marker is actually smarter than the Prius I think at the end of the day I don’t like Prius drivers I would say the only car out there that I really want to drive and I would do just about anything to make it happen is a Formula One car unfortunately I’m a tipping the scales at about 270 right now so I don’t believe there’s a Formula One car in existence then it was big enough for me to drive it but it will be a lifelong quest I’m Bill Goldberg thank you for coming to Goldberg’s garage and if you want to check out more cool people and their cool cars go to gq– calm [Music] you
